Content Creator/Digital Executive – Marina Market & Douglas Village Shopping Centre

About the Role

Marina Market and Douglas Village Shopping Centre are two of Cork’s most vibrant retail and lifestyle destinations, home to a diverse mix of local businesses, food experiences, and community events.

We’re looking for a Content Creator to help capture and share the unique energy of both locations through creative photo and video content. You’ll be showcasing everything from bustling market moments to exciting retail events — bringing our community and culture to life online.

This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, social media, and visual creativity, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media

· Shoot and edit high-quality short-form videos and photos at Marina Market and Douglas Village Shopping Centre.

· Create engaging posts and stories for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

· Capture trader and retailer highlights, community events, and behind-the-scenes moments.

· Maintain a consistent visual style that aligns with the Marina Market and Douglas Village brands.

Publishing & Engagement

· Schedule and publish content across all social media platforms.

· Write captions, hashtags, and post copy that drive engagement.

· Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions when needed.

Campaign & Collaboration

· Support marketing campaigns and promotions with creative visual content.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute new content ideas.

· Coordinate with traders, store owners, designers, and photographers for shoots or features.

Performance & Reporting

· Track content performance (views, engagement, reach) and share insights.

· Suggest improvements based on analytics and audience feedback.

You Might Be a Fit If You:

· Have 1+ years’ experience in content creation, social media, or videography.

· Are skilled with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and basic editing tools (CapCut, Canva etc.).

· Love being behind the camera and have an eye for storytelling and detail.

· Are creative, proactive, and organised.
