Move @ the Marina is a feel-good Saturday morning of movement, music and connection - designed for everyone. Whether you’re a complete beginner, getting back into exercise after a break, or simply fancy trying something new, this event is all about moving your body in a way that feels supportive, welcoming and energising.
There’s no pressure, no expectations and no “fitness level” required. Just show up, move at your own pace, and enjoy the buzz of a brilliant community morning.

Run the Night
Run the Night is about illuminating cities for a cause. It ties running, community engagement, and chartiable giving together. The charity partner is Little Blue Heroes, who's vision is to support families of children with serious illnesses in Ireland while empowering the lives of children. Run the Night is a 5-mile (8.04km) starting and finishing at Marina Promenade and running along the Marina Promenade, Atlantic Pond, and Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Landrover Christmas Run 2025
The annual Cork Landrover enthusiasts Xmas run is happening on Saturday the 13 of December. Registration for the event will take place from 15:30 with the drivers / safety brief to start at 17:45. The first of the Landrovers set to leave the market/quay side at 18:30.
This year we are doing the event for the rainbow club and children’s ward in CUH. Donations of toys etc appreciated. Landrovers of all sizes and shapes welcome. Prizes for best dressed and lit up Landrover, best dressed crew, best dressed driver/pilot and a prize best kept to the day.

Get ready for a burst of creativity and Christmas spirit as Cork City’s young entrepreneurs join the festive buzz here at the Marina Market, on Thursday 11th December from 10am to 2pm, for the annual Student Enterprise Programme Christmas Market.
Over 300 TY secondary school students from across Cork City will showcase their brilliant business ideas, handmade products and clever innovations to shoppers and a panel of judges. The event, run in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office Cork City, gives students a chance to turn their ideas into real-world businesses and be part of one of Cork’s most popular Christmas markets.
The Student Enterprise Programme Christmas Market is a fantastic opportunity for them to share their hard work with the public and experience what it’s like to run a real business. It’s set to be a fun and festive day celebrating innovation, community spirit and the amazing talent of Cork’s young entrepreneurs!
