Santa’s Magical Market – The Big Freeze at Marina Market

Things are already starting to cool down at Cork’s Marina Market, where early bird tickets have just gone on sale for Santa’s Magical Market - The Big Freeze. The brand-new immersive Christmas experience takes place from 22 November to 23 December 2025.

Brought to life by Cork-based TS Events – the team behind the sell-out Santa’s Magical Market in 2023 – The Big Freeze will transform the Marina Market into a snow-dusted Scandinavian-inspired winter wonderland, complete with icy forests, twinkling lights, and festive magic for all the family – even your dog.

This year’s theme introduces a host of new interactive features, including a Frozen Forest and Ice Cave illuminated by a dazzling light show, a Snowy Valley home to an animatronic polar bear, and a whimsical snow village serving up seasonal sweet treats. Children can post letters at the North Pole Outpost, all while snow machines create a magical flurry overhead. The highlight for many will be a visit to Santa in his cosy log cabin. Families can capture the moment with professional photos, snow globes, keyrings, and keepsake prints by Peter P Photos.

The experience is fully accessible, dog-friendly, and includes designated sensory-friendly hours – part of an ongoing commitment to inclusivity and a continued partnership with Enable Ireland, helping raise vital funds for children’s services in Cork.

Whether it’s a baby’s first Christmas, a multi-generational family day out, or a magical festive visit with four-legged friends, Santa’s Frozen Village promises to be one of Cork’s most unforgettable holiday experiences.

Early bird tickets are now on sale – avail of a 10% discount for the month of September. use the code FREEZE25 at the checkout!
